Beauty Awards
My new favorite magazine is Natural Solutions. The October 2009 issue is of special interest to me, so I thought it might be to you as well. It includes their second annual “Beauty with a Conscience Awards”. The magazine is honoring companies that have created non-toxic products that really work. Two of the products that they chose are available at If a Goddess Wore Makeup.
Best mascara - Gabriel Mascara. I’m in love with this mascara. It has a great brush that defines and separates eliminating clumping, makes your lashes long and thick with just one application, doesn’t smudge and is gentle and non-irritating. And no coal-tar. What more could you want in a mascara?
Best lipstick - Perfect Organics Lip and Cheek Shimmers. LOVE!! This is a vegan, organic, lead-free lipstick that can also be used as a cheek color. Didn’t our mothers do that? There are seven beautiful shades that give sheer, shiny color that lasts. And because of the hydrating, nourishing ingredients like organic shea butter, aloe vera and sunflower oil, the lipstick is considered to be a treatment product too.
